In Fiercely Visible, Rachael Nitya invites you on a journey through the cosmos of human experience - the joy, the grief, the erotic, the absurd - with her signature blend of wit, heart, and wildness. Her songs are sonic medicine: woven from the threads of awakening, ancestral remembrance and raw embodied truth.
At its heart, this show is an exploration of what it means to be fiercely visible, not as a fixed identity or performance, but as a living question. Rachael invites you into a celebration of the full spectrum: the light and the dark, the sacred and the silly. We are not isolated beings, but evolving, interconnected miracles. And when we gather in authenticity, magic happens.
From a masked vulva to sacred funerals, mirrors, red noses and the unexpected… this is a show that will stir your soul, tickle your insides, and leave you more connected to your own fierce aliveness.
Rachael is joined by electronic percussionist Damian Mills and multi-instrumentalist Cat Barter (bass, keys, vocals). Together, they create a genre-bending soundscape described as cosmic folk — with echoes of Joni Mitchell, Moloko, Deya Dova, and Nina Simone.
